The transformer converts the high voltage from the power outlet – which is usually around 220v ac – to the lower voltage needed for the electric strike (12-24v ac).
Our transformers have 4 terminals and come equipped with monitoring light led, battery charger and backup. They are prepared for an installation on a din rail.
